Biography:

Ken Serota is a Senior Advisor at Thirty-5 Capital. He has been leading the growth and profitability of companies for over two decades. He has successfully guided 50+ acquisitions, and steered dozens of strategic exits, mergers, integrations, and global expansions. Able to transform operations across various business structures, Ken has delivered success to family-led, public, private equity-backed, and strategic alliances worldwide, driving transformation and growth that yields high investor returns.

Previously, Ken has built and sold companies for significant profit and shareholder gain. He drove the rebranding and growth of Hu-Friedy Group, a 100+ year-old dental company, turning it into one of the world's most progressive dental consumable companies before the successful sale in 2019 to Cantel Medical. Additionally, Ken established a publishing group early in his career, leveraging a combination of public debt and private equity growing the operation to 330 publications, and successfully sold the publishing group.

He earned his JD from the University of Illinois College of Law and a BS in Accounting from the University of Illinois. He is a licensed attorney and a Certified Public Accountant.
